Warm Up
GUADEC 2008 Welcome Party!
On the first day of GUADEC, there will be a party for conference participants at the Riddim Bar in Taksim. Your first beer will be free!

Core
Opening Cocktails
Wine and soft drinks will be served on the roof of the Bahcesehir University, accompanied by a GNOME’s favourite jazz band, the Drooling Macaques, and an amazing view of the Bosporous.

The Bosporus Boat Party by 
Starting its tour from Kabatas, the Lufer 66 boat will guide GUADEC participants through the Bosporous with practically unlimited beer accompanied by a barbeque of Turkish ‘sucuk’ (sausage). The beer and the unique scenery of the Bosporous will be brought to you by the generosity of Collabora!

Core Days Closing Party by 
Ghetto, one of the best party zones of Istanbul, will host GUADEC Core Days Closing Party sponsored by Google! First three local drinks (ie. beer, coke etc.) will be free and rest of the bar will have 15% off prices.

Community Events
Apart from events organized by GUADEC, there will be group activities which will be organized by our community members and sponsored by GUADEC organization.

Once again, teams consisting of Freedom Lovers™ compete against to find the one.
